Consent-gated analytics & marketing. On your first visit we ask for consent. Only if you accept, the site loads: Google Analytics 4 (traffic and campaign measurement, Google Ireland Ltd.), the Meta Pixel (campaign measurement and audiences for Facebook/Instagram, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag (B2B campaign measurement, LinkedIn Ireland). These providers set cookies and may process your data outside the EEA under their own safeguards. If you choose “Essential only”, none of them load and the site works identically.
Withdrawing consent. Your choice is stored in your browser. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change it at any time; you can also clear your browser data. Opt-outs are likewise available from Google, Meta and LinkedIn directly.
Forms. The demo/contact form is delivered to office@fortrust.ro through the FormSubmit relay service; the data you enter (name, email, company, message) is used solely to answer your request.
Third-party requests. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com); Google receives your IP address as part of serving that request, and nothing else from us. If you open the “EUDI news” drawer, your browser fetches public news headlines through the rss2json.com relay (which serves Google News feeds); if that relay is down, a backup relay (allorigins.win) is tried instead. These requests happen only while the drawer is open (refreshed at most hourly), set no cookies, and carry no personal data beyond your IP address. Every other resource — pages, styles, images — is served directly from fortrust.ro.
Server logs. Like virtually every web server, our hosting keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) for security and operations. They are retained briefly, reviewed only when investigating abuse or faults, and are not used for profiling.
If you email us. Writing to office@fortrust.ro or suport@fortrust.ro sends us your address and message; we keep the correspondence for as long as the business relationship (or legal retention) requires, and use it for nothing else.
Legal bases (GDPR). Marketing/analytics cookies — your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time. Answering your requests and pre-contract steps — art. 6(1)(b). Security, server logs and defending our rights — legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
Retention. Consent choice — until you change or clear it. Lead-form data and correspondence — for the duration of the discussion/relationship, then up to 3 years for follow-up and legal defence, unless you ask us to erase it sooner. Server logs — short-term, for security. Analytics data — per the providers' retention settings.
Recipients & transfers. Hosting provider (EU); FormSubmit (form relay); and — only with your consent — Google, Meta and LinkedIn, which may transfer data outside the EEA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights (full list). Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent — all free of charge, via office@fortrust.ro. We answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Romanian supervisory authority: ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
